All the way back in June I did my first comic of a LARP comic - https://www.patreon.com/posts/caption-comic-84479708 and followed it up with week 2 -- https://www.patreon.com/posts/caption-comic-2-86021083 .
I'm planning to take these characters and do some sort of adventure in an Isekai vein, but not 'full' isekai. By that, I mean, I want it so that after they finish an adventure, they leave the fantasy world, go back to their 'normal' bodies, and then go about their week. So the male character who plays a female elf bard and the female character who plays a male orc barbarian have to deal with their everyday lives in between the issues. I think this would be great for a long-running slow burn.
Partly this is also because in most of my 'stuck' comics there's the initial transformation, which for me is a huge part of the fun, so I like the idea of a comic where every 'week' the characters have to go through the transformation again, in addition to having a chance to reflect on their willingness to go through the transformations between 'sessions'.
I am playing around with a few different styles; the first three images are one engine, and the last four are a different, so if you strongly prefer one group or the other let me know!
The orc character is a bit of a struggle for the moment, but the fun thing about this is that basically every few issues I can do the 'main' transformation again. One of the tricks of 'stuck' as a theme is that you often only get to see the main transformation the once.
