2024 Previews

Over the next week I'm going to be giving brief concept descriptions of titles that I'm considering working on in 2024.

My plans for the future are always somewhat evolving as technology changes. There's also for me a constant question of new consistent content vs. experiments. I keep wanting to make a Twine game, for instance, and I even was starting a brief proof of concept before my focus turned back to the existing comic projects.

Note that these previewed titles are not *exactly* competing with the existing titles.

I'm hoping to work up a more coherent roadmap for 2024 by the end of the month, but right now I'm thinking I'll be able to commit to at least 9 issues of Help! I'm Stuck as a French Maid!

I don't have a specific endpoint for that series in mind yet, and my goal from the get-go was to get to at least 18 issues total before I would even really ask the question of when I want it to end. Basically, I plan to still be releasing issues of French Maid through 2025 at least.

I do feel like my morale is much higher when I'm not doing back-to-back issues of the same title, though. While I could just get into a rotation of alternating with Help! I'm Stuck as an E-Girl, I think I like it more when I'm trying out new titles.

So my very very loose 2024 roadmap that I'm still brainstorming but will try to articulate more clearly in the coming months looks something like:

9 Issues of French Maid

6 New Issues of New Titles (at least)

3 Issues of E-Girl?

[X Number of other unnamed projects, sequences, etc.)

The early 2024 roadmap is:

January: E-Girl Issue 3, Start French Maid Issue 7

February: Finish French Maid Issue 7, [New Title 1!]

So the upcoming vote will be on what I start really figuring out before the second half of February while I keep working on issues of E-Girl and French Maid. 

So, when I'm previewing the upcoming titles, I guess the question isn't really "do you think you'd like this more than french maid" but it's more "do you think you'd like this title more than E-Girl" since how many issues of E-Girl I do in 2024 is a more open question to me. Definitely at least two, probably at least three.

Of course these 8 titles aren't even all I necessarily could work on, but several of these are ideas or projects I've been thinking of for at least 3-4 months and in some cases several years.

So, of these new titles I'm considering, I *want* to do all of them, but in terms of keeping up with French Maid releases, I'm not sure I will get to all of them in 2024 and might have to save 1-2 for 2025.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to your comments and thoughts on the ideas for the new titles! Again, it's more than just the vote at the end -- I'd love to hear your thoughts and suggestions for each of the titles if you want to share!
