Thoughts on Page Navigation and Tags
Added 2023-06-27 01:43:32 +0000 UTCSo I spent some time today doing some initial cleanup on the tags on Patreon. I felt like "m2f" and "TG" were both basically useless since almost all of my content right now follows those themes. So I tried to get some ground on some initial major divisions, highlighting posts with Patreon-exclusive NSFW Bonus Panels, full Patreon Exclusive posts, SFW Publicly Viewable Posts, and Textless Sequences. There's still a ton of one-off tags I still need to clean up which I think makes clicking the "more" button feel cluttered and hard to navigate, but I also am going back and forth on removing tags like "f2m", "brown skin", "pov", etc. which would be really useful I think for users specifically looking for that content.
I still am debating pinning a navigation post to help users find major releases and perhaps just go down some of the weekly themes. This would end up being redundant, I think, with the Patreon Tagging System, but might still feel more 'organized' since I think it's hard to make sense of the Patreon tags right now.
Do you use tags to find content or do you ignore them? Would you appreciate a pinned post at the start of the channel listing most releases? Is there anything else I could do to help with navigation? Let me know if so!
