After Steam Release Reflections

Hi there!

It's been exactly a week since the game was released on Steam, so it's time for a little summary. The game has attracted a lot of interest, beyond our expectations, which delights us immensely and gives us the momentum to create new updates and scenes. Thank you!

We've received various opinions and private messages - some opinions were certainly helpful as they provided additional perspectives on the entire project, while others were strictly about the content itself or other games. First and foremost, I'd like to mention that a year ago, I knew nothing about being a developer or releasing games; my focus was mainly on creating renders. I've learned a lot during this time, but I realize there's still much to learn, and even more to improve. However, believe me, I'm learning quickly, and I'll quickly catch up - and as Bill Brooks wrote, you don't need super knowledge, just surround yourself with the right people.

Regarding the content and its quantity - as I've mentioned several times before, a game based on the corruption of the main character needs to be a bit of a slow burn to show their transformation. If it happens too quickly, the whole story wouldn't make sense. We're roughly at 25-30% completion of the entire project, so there are still many scenes ahead of you (and us).

However, comparing our project to others like "Innocence and Money," "Being a DIK," etc., and giving negative ratings based on them is somewhat unfair from one simple standpoint - they've been in development for years and often by experienced developers, whereas our project is still in its infancy and only growing, so please give it time.

That's it for now; I hope you all enjoyed it nonetheless, and thank you for your trust. We won't let you down! As you could read in Early Access, the entire project is planned for 7-8 episodes (more likely 7, but we'll see if we want to add additional side plots and expand the world more than planned), with each episode having two smaller chapters. Below, I present you with the update schedule:

Episode 1.0 -> 1.1 -> 1.2

Episode 2.0 -> 2.1 -> 2.2  (we are here and working on update 2.2)

Episode 3.0 -> 3.1 -> 3.2

Episode 4.0 -> 4.1 -> 4.2

Episode 5.0 -> 5.1 -> 5.2

Episode 6.0 -> 6.1 -> 6.2

Episode 7

We plan to release larger full episodes (2.0, 3.0, etc.) every approximately 8-10 weeks (9-11 scenes), followed by two smaller ones (2.1, 2.2, etc.) every approximately 5-7 weeks (5-7 scenes). I believe it's better to release smaller updates in shorter intervals than, like most developers, a big update every six months or more. We truly value quality, and each of us works in every spare moment to achieve the goal.

That's all from me for now; I wanted you to know what our plans are and how everything looks from my perspective. I'm getting back to work because, as you know, the new update is coming in a month - March 14th!

Exceptional Work! Take the time you need to gather what you need. What you have here is a work of art and "Great Art" takes time.

Keep up the good work!

Well I guess you have your opinion and I have mine... there is one fact I know for sure though... I know witch game my money's going into and witch game it's not.

Actually both games are similar. Both requires repetitions in order to earn money, both requires certain things to be done before it can trigger new quests, locations or scenes, both provides option to either corrupt or maintain the girl's moral standards, and both has about the same level of character building there is. This is basically an apple to apple comparison, and to say one is better than the other only shows biasness in judgement for the developer. I find that both has the same formula that makes their games really successful. I also know the developer for IOM, and I'm not sure if this a coincidence, but Marcial himself, just like Fooxied, literally started from scratch, both learning the ropes and new things as they progress along. What I really like about both games are that their developers take the time to listen to their fans and correspond with them, and that they have this passion in them that drives their games to new heights. They are both "Masters of Arousals"

I think your original plan of slowly leading up is the best course. I lose interest in a game like this if gets right to the sex. Whats the sense of playing these if there is no lead up? The game is not called 'One step to Debauchery'

You are doing a fantastic job plain and simple! Your updates leave me excited for more. Keep it up!

I have to say I'm all for more content for this game and Riley. I'm sure whatever you make next will only improve but you're pacing, story and renders for this game have been outstanding. I'll continue to support here and probably buy it on steam at some point too so keep up the good work.

There are very few good games with a female MC , so your game so far ranks on the top with its graphics and storyline . And definitely like the pace which keeps everyone engaged .

Your doing bloody fine mate.. obviously many of us are thinking "Ohh what she should have totally done that.." or "WTF that's her opportunity to ...." But no!! It's your baby and your story, so carry on mate! Your doing great 👍👍

I may end up sounding like a bit of an a-hole to some with this comment, but I don't really care lol. I feel like you're belittling yourself by even mentioning "Innocence or Money" being in the same league as this game. This game is heads and tails beyond... this game actually provides character building choices and different paths for players to explore... just my opinion maybe, but "IoM" basically is just do the same thing 15 times over, get new quest, click on the location on the map and get new scene. And that's it. No comparison... just my opinion.

Tanner

Good! Happy for you bro! Just keep working hard on content with promised consistent updates. Your game will get more popular and successful!

Nice to see that it goes well on steam. Sadly i can not buy it so I support here^^ Also when you compare other games I think this game actually nails the pacing and release speed how these kind of games should be. Being a dik for example is like once a year which is fine oters mostly are 3-4 Months which often feel contentwise like the amount you guys release in 5-7 weeks. So yeah i love the current speed. Only thing I wonder how far will this corruption will go with multiple variations like a good and a bad ending ( like ending as a sexslave etc.) But we wills ee in the future. Also hoping for DPs XD

You're doing great IMHO, and you need to take whatever time is needed in order to put out a product that you are happy with and that we will love. From what I've seen and played thus far, you will def. do it. Congratulations!! :)
