PINK DRAGON

GENRE: Fantasy

Description: Pink Dragons are prideful serpentine creatures that usually live in lavish lairs dig up on hills, often decorated with gold, precious jewels or statues. The Pink Dragon is a smaller specie of dragon, reaching 20ft from head to tail in adulthood, and because of that it tends to avoid direct confrontation. It favors stalking possible enemies in silence, until it can be close enough to hit them with its Breath. Enemies that are not affected are usually fought with fangs and claws.  

Pink Dragon Breath: If hit by the Breath of a Pink Dragon, the creatures must do a hard mental based check. In case of success the creature is left dizzy and disoriented for a short amount of time; in case of failure, the creature goes through a Transformation. The first stage is a change of sex that takes place in few seconds, followed by a shift on the clothes of the individual to fit their culture´s proper attire.  After the transformation, the creature must make a second medium mental based check, in case of success there are no other effects; in case of failure the character suffers amnesia for a couple of hours. If a character is transformed by the breath, he can recover his original sex by being exposed to a second dose.

As an Item: The Breath of a Pink Dragon is very valuable, and used on multiple mind/memory based potions (including as a cure to its effect). If an individual is frequently exposed to the breath, it´s effects might become permanent.  The duration of the amnesia ranges to 2-4 hours.   

Possible Uses: Pink Dragons are good enemies for low level characters or games, they often prefer intimidation and manipulation over spilling blood, and can be bargained with. As villains, Pink Dragons can move to new lands and cause all sort of chaos, a dragon can blackmail important people using their breath, send players on quests to turn them back to normal, or even build an army of amnesiac followers. I suppose a battle involving followers of Pink Dragons would involve a lot of people switching sides as they are transformed again and again.
