I'll eventually delete this story and post it to the public (twitter and pixiv) because its old and I've improved a lot since this was released.

Actually, you made a good observation and I believe that's why I found this story to be my most challenging one thus far. There is a lot of untold context that couldn't be mentioned in a proper way. Not everyone knows the backstories and that's an issue while working with OCs. This OCs are close friends in the lore but that's an aspect that needs to be known beforehand. Perhaps I shall design my stories to get deeper with popular characters (fanarts - since they are more relatable) and don't get too deep with OCs (since they are quite uncommon). Maybe 20 pages is the "sweet spot" when it comes to comic/stories lenght ? Thank you so much Reachel for the feedback! I really apreciatte it!

2021-07-20 04:14:02 +0000 UTCOkay so I've been thinking on this for a few days. I don't really have a better ending in mind, but I do have a better idea if what was bugging me with this story. I actually think my problem was more the whole friendship stuff felt contrived of them being buddy buddy at the end. I don't think the theming was bad. More them being friends came about much too quickly with not enough time for it to feel anything but forced. Admittedly, for your current format that would seem a bit difficult to pull off without messing up the pacing and needing to make the comics longer or more parts.
