Thanks to all of you who believe in my work, and the ones who have commissioned me in the past, I was able to save enough money to acquire a Wacom Cintiq 22. A professional screen illustration tablet in which you draw over the screen: this is a big and amazing help! Your workflow is drastically improved and once you fully calibrate with it: you can draw faster, more efficiently, and allows you to try advanced techniques. This is a before-and-after for me, and for any artist as well. I am aiming to release more works each month and exploring more illustrations techniques.
This graphic tablet makes this extremely possible and reachable. Cintiq tablets are expensive, when I started doing digital art (back in 2013) I dreamed on getting one of these ones, I even considered it impossible. Even so... the possibility of people from all over the world and backgrounds actually supporting my work was unthinkable. Now it's real, it happened.
While I believe that everything happens for a greater reason, I want to make the most of the opportunity you are allowing me to take. Investing on my art makes the most sense, even so: I also used Patreon's income to fix my computer, so it's not broken anymore, it's even faster now and doesn't lag with the drawing software (my laptop has returned to it's case - it allowed me to keep working this month). I also used Patreon's income to acquire the licenses for CLIP STUDIO PAINT and ADOBE CREATIVE CLOUD, the software I use to draw and create comics, respectively. I want to do this for much longer, I want to increase my quality, reduce my drawing times and learn new techniques. I am extremely happy doing this. I am thinking different (and better) on lots of aspects of my life. Being in my position and finally believing in something -after everything that has happened- feels like the greatest privilege I've ever received.
