heyo peeps, more progress on fenris high and the pixel art project this week- little progress, but progress nonetheless. The programmer finally completed the portrait part of the dialogue system as he explains in the video and imho it looks pretty good ! now it's REALLY time to start working on the battle system, and after that i'll have basically all the systems i need in place to start actually building playable versions of the game- so yeah, fingers crossed we get there before the end of the year XD
speaking of fingers, for the pixel art project this week i had to finish the last pieces of the skeleton boss. Last time i worked on his left hand attacks, and this week i finished his right one. The idles are drawn from scratch , while the attacks are edits as you can see-

and that's it for that enemy- next, the programmer asked me to work on a new enemy, a mud puppet of sorts, so i started sketching out some animations for it

aand it turns out not many of these were ok with the programmer, so expect some changes in them. I'm a bit off of my game lately it seems >_>

...and it kinda shows in this animation for the mud puppet - it may seem ok , but there are way too many problems with it (it's way too big and it's supposed to be flexing, something that i think doesn't read very well ) , so i'll probably end up redrawing it from scratch. I thought i'd still show you since there are parts of it i still like, but ..yeah XD
