I imagined a version of Greg that's more egocentric and hostile toward the invading crystalline aliens, while still retaining his usual charm. He slyly works his way into Pink Diamond's life and heart, seizing her powers in a moment of weakness, and then sets his sights on Blue, Yellow, and finally White Diamond. With all of them under his control, he channels their powers into his music, forcing all the gems around him to spontaneously transform into adoring fans for his galactic performance. And what better audience than an army of himself?
