heyo peeps, a bit of a late update, and nothing too varied in it, but i like what came out of this couple days of work. As far as fenris high progress, the programmer has finished setting up the cutscene system and is now setting up things for combat, i've sent him all the documentations and assets i've got so far, so fingers crossed.
now, about the pixel art project i'm working for him in exchange for his help with fh..
last time i showed you this attack transition for the big skeleton boss , but it was kinda meh so i redid it-

this is the new version, a bit more lively with the skeleton kind of climbing back up after falling down with his new body.

of course, once that was out of the way i made an idle for this form, wich for some reason i always have immense trouble with. Something to do with small subtle movements, i suppose. It turned out ok tho.

then i went for the attack. The skeleton is supposed to hump the ground so his spinal column/stinger comes up and impales his enemies.

problem was it had to link up with its legless form so we had his legs fall off after it thrusting.

after that was done i started the serpent phase of the boss. I was a bit intimidated by the sheer amount of detail i had to put in such an animation, detailing every single rig, but it ended up being extremely fun and not that hard in the end.

it's another story for the idle wich...i'm not particularly happy about. I'll probably end up remaking it.
