Added 2023-04-21 00:31:49 +0000 UTCalright, another update done! it's time for the civilians- we start with jj , alexander wright, sven , julian gutierrez, neil, lyle , neil's uncle and rodney, damien and ricky . Apologies i didn't include more player characters i kind of realized after i've drawn most of the update i shouldn't have dealt with so many npcs. i'll try to fix it in the next one!

I forgot to comment on it but wow does JJ look amazing in this. Also really happy to learn how all the others are doing. I'm liking Hymir more and more cause they seem to just be curious to a fault and not trying to cause ill intent.

2023-04-21 14:28:19 +0000 UTCOh gosh, GL really has had quite the effect on Alexander! He has been busy absolutely stuffing "the family" members very well, he looks even bigger than he was as Oberon! I would love to see his paintings, and that expression is 100% "drawing smut" mode that artists do haha. Damien out here continuing to be absolutely running the best fits in the comic, so stylish <3 I think its really cool that you incorporated the back branding GL had that appeared as Odhran, and that other folks decided to get it to show their bond!The family polycule is real! \o/ I am curious about Hymir, I love their design and how they are fanboying over RK (I mean, who wouldn't) but I get the impression he might be part of a the deeps equivalent of a Perfect Neighbour hivemind. The burning glowing stigmata effects, able to access the MAD chips, frank and allister even saying it feels like how the flames felt but not having those urges, using we and us a lot and such. Definitely an intriguing fella~

2023-04-21 13:45:24 +0000 UTCJust want to throw out my crazy person theory here- Hymir is a kind of 'precursor', and his species existed on ARKTO, before it crashed. This is why he can intersect with MAD chips, even those that are disabled. It also explains his objective, in he is also trying to do what ARKTO did, which is store and record Animal experiences, particularly sex because that is something he cannot gain data about. The place they are in is a 'cauldron', which I imagine is designed to work like ARKTO's primary function- find a collection of those with high intellects, and give them the ability to seed future worlds. However, Hymir's species is not damaged and influenced like ARKTO was, so they do not have the same obsession with destroying the original civilisation in order to do so. Again- something that can't feel love trying to experience it- as we can see he never really understands the emotion, just the product. However, unlike ARKTO he seems willing to learn.

They cause similar flashes of color but those caused by Hymir are green and those by the chips were multicolored. Also both are memory/perception related (although somewhat different, at least until now)... I wonder if the chip technology is based on Hymir's people capabilities...

I also definitely enjoy every person working at "the family" restaurant has the mafia tattoos like JJ and Alex. I could definitely see P having his on his belly as he grows and gets fatter. With him being with C and GL he would be gaining weight in a hurry hehe. And damn JJ got jacked,fucking love his smug confident face. Amazing job as always BC. <3
