this week i worked on a place where andy will end before the last part of the circus, wich is the hellmouth cage. The ringmaster will throw him there so the creature in the cage can dispose of the pesky devil.

You can actually see it in the background of the animal cages

of course, it's a tad more imposing up close-

i decided to animate the creature as part of the bg rather than making a giant sprite-

but of course, a creature with little mobility like this must have a way to snatch his prey, and well, a tons of tentacle like tongues is just what it needs.

The thing isn't really a threat to andy tho, this is more like a cutscene where andy is abotu to get eaten and gets promptly rescued by the other inhabitants of the circus

speaking of andy, i gave him a little animation since at some point he'll be convinced to have figured something only to instantly be proven wrong by another thing happening-
