so, it's not really a secret that fenris high has been going through a bit of a troubled development cycle. Its future is a bit uncertain still, but i've come across a collaborator that's willing to help me with the programming for the game (he's incredibly good at it believe it or not, a true professional). In exchange he asked me to help him with the animations of the enemies for the project he's currently working on.

soo , i decided to agree and i started working on the project. The game has a strong male gaze aspect to it, so expect some sexy designs here and there- but for now all i've worked on are a simple npc and a minor enemy - You gotta start somewhere XD

the npc in question i didn't design, but i made a couple simple animations for it just to get a feel for the style-

then i was asked to design a minor enemy that comes from another dimension , and the concept was venom + limbs and misplaced body parts

in the end the big mouth guy is the one that was chosen, and i started to animate his combat sprites-

a basic idle

a bite attack

and an attack where he inflates

and spits out an organ at his enemies.

i understand this kind of devlog posts might not be to everyone's liking compared to like .. illustrations and such. But please bear with me, this will be worth it, i assure you.

(you might have noticed the animations are a bit blurry, that's a request from the commissioner so they don't get used somewhere else at their original resolution, hope you understand!)
