My questions concern the nature of cherry's stain, what is it? what is the little homunculus in his eye, to we need to feed it monsters to continue to strengthen our boy? Is this stain connected with his impending mortality? he seems like such a bright soul that buoys the spirit of his companions, hopefully we can help him experience the wonders of this world before his time is up. with the way kurt talks there must be some limit to healing and resurrection magic, what's to stop us from purging this stain if this is what is killing cherry?

The city was on the verge of being drowned in corruption within the hour of our arrival. And I hope this meeting won’t progress time in that world too much, you stole us away as events of interest were happening, though I suppose finding a better time would not have been easy. Rainfall Star (to Kurt): We are wanderers, ones who were deliberately called to your world by another group. We may indeed be ‘gods’ in this world but with limitted awareness, only seeing those who have come close to our vessel, and their memories are rarely accessable to us. We are not yet even aware of what this ‘corruption’ you speak of is. It is a common term in a variety of worlds and each one is slightly different, with your definition being more concerning than most. I understand why you wish to see it stopped. Also you might want to go back to the cell. Dominic believes the forces that actually put him to cause such havoc will punish him shortly for his failures. And as much as I like Cherry and wish for him to prove himself as he so desperately wants to, the ones he’d be facing are not native to this world either and I doubt his ability to handle them on his own. After all it’s already so depleted that I doubt it could sate you even if you are able to fully conquer it.
