patreon devlog update 54: catch of the day
Added 2021-04-22 22:11:46 +0000 UTCheyo peeps! we' re still working hard on the minigames for the start of the circus ,of course, but we're making fast progress. Rick has moved on the shooting minigame and now we can keep track of the shots fired by the damned : 20 shots , after wich he loses the game and you win, given you have at least one duck intact
the game also of keeps track of how many ducks you have left, and after they're all gone you lose. Now all it's left to do is the actual timing of the game and then we're golden!
on my side, i'm instead still on the fishing minigame. I complete the catching a fish animation i showed you last week!
after that i moved on the actual catches. We decided This minigame would work with points instead of lives, so you gotta fish the best the river has to offer before the timer runs out to clear the stage.
of course, this is the lethe we're talking about, and the people on the circus are looking for something in particular that swims in the river..
heads!
of course it's not just the heads of the damned the circus people are after, but we'll get to that later in the story. Of course, there's also actual fishes in the lethe, and as most creatures in hell they're fully sentient and antropomorphic. This lethe shark seems particularly pissed at andy. Did he interrupt his alone time in the depths?

2021-04-23 11:52:53 +0000 UTCyo I love that shark! i have a couple of shark characters 'cuz they're really hot! they got that "apex hunter" look to them, that makes them really powerful looking, and its really easy to play around with that aesthetic (one of my favorite things about them is that they can be made to have two dicks)
