Frank: Ask the bartender about the town. Try and uncover more information about the Church of Alliance and the Manimal Factory.

Allister: We've noticed that you seem to have a problem confronting individuals, like a receptionist. do not worry, as that quality of your can be beneficial, in a disarming charm sort of way. We must inquire if you know of when these problems arose for you, as this shouldn't be your first time on the field. Furthermore, if confrontation becomes too difficult, please rely on us or your partner for assistance. Frank: Make sure to play along with Oswald and try to hold off why you're here. While you do have a striking resemblance to your Father, there's a good chance they may not know you're here for the investigation. Fib a story like you're scouting out place for a company get together and your friends have a hard-on for spooky locations. that could be a more natural opening to talking about the investigation that doesn't alert Oswald to your position, in case he's involved as well. (i woulda talked sooner but time got long. also YAY my comment got mentioned! i understand on the ill timed thing, ill try re-posting the ask about Father Bellows when the two MCs have some time together to gather facts)

Alucardsamsun

Can't wait to see what happen next?

Dark627

Alright, a new CYOA and I hear for the start of it (almost anyway). Uhh, I don't know what even to suggest. Uhh, Mr. Hopper's car was left at the pub right? Agent Frank: Ask what happened to Mr. Hopper's vehicle, and if he left any mementos behind.

RexFurry

also shout out to the Directer for immediately being my favorite edition to the formula

Newt

Things are looking up.

Meanbeard

Agent Frank: Make use of your alluring nature and use an excuse that you just arrived from a really long trip, and that you could really use a drink right now. The beaver would probably love this. Get yourselves some drinks and make him slowly talk. And take full advantage of your powerful nose. In case you smell something is off, leave a once and regroup with agent Alister at the hotel at once.

Xeralex

Agent Allister : Discovering more information about the second missing person, Matt Casey Hopper, will be integral if you wish to find out what happened to your superior, and how their cases are connected. After you are finished with your business in the Cozy Hearth Inn, head to the Manmal Retail Store we marked on your map. Hopper's case file suggested he visited Dusk Acres in order purchase something important, and we believe this is where he intended to buy it from. Try to find out what Hopper bought, if he ever reached his destination.

Crowbar

To Agent Allister: Check under the bed and sheets to see if he left anything behind. To Agent Frank: Get to know the owner. Ask him for his personal history to the town, and if you get a chance, take a whiff of his butt

GuacoHexxRhey

Agent Allister: Look for any traces of Mr. Bellows' belongings. Even if it is his scent. Leave no stone unturned. I note that there is a grate as well where your smoke is entering. Perhaps he hid something there? The front doorman seemed quite perturbed by your line of questioning as well. Ask him if he left any of his belongings in the room and if they are kept anywhere. Agent Frank: Oswald seems quite friendly and jovial and is clearly the owner. Use some of your natural allure to see if you can get him to talk - or at least get a drink with him in secret. Flirt if you must.

Nex Canis

it's probably drugs. look at his eyes

Newt

You know, after just recently watching twin peaks, i'm super excited for this series. My cynical nature makes me question any character that's introduced appearing jovial but cast in shade, and my love of scream makes me question the most suspicious looking person, the obvious drug abuser afraid of cops that works in the place where bellows went missing. With that said: Agents Allister and Frank: Keep your suspicions of everyone you meet. It's quite possible the entire town could be in on whatever it is thats taking these people. Allister, you specifically should try to keep a list of everyone that's currently or previously stayed in the inn, as it's the most suspicious location so far.

Newt

FRANK: Flirt with him, he’s big and cute isn’t he? If he seems receptive to it, get closer and even make physical contact. Try to get on his good side and make him like you.

WorgenRouge

Agent Allister: Keep the room's door open before examining the vent. If the ventilation is compromised, Mr. Bellows might've been incapacitated by an airborne threat.

Agent Allister: Do take note of the paintings. Be sure that they are not hiding anything behind or within them - spells and cameras may have been left behind from Agent Bellows' stay, or in wake of anyone looking for him. Agent Frank: Pretend to be a lost tourist. Make your enemies underestimate you, and see where they lead you. That's likely where trouble you'll need to solve will be at its most vulnerable.

Taikowolf

Agent Allister, take note of the receptionist's nervous behavior. It is unlikely that he is directly involved in the case but, he may have knowledge about criminal activities occurring in town. Such information can uncover some leads. For now, play it cool and build rapport with him through light conversation. If you need a conversation starter, try talking about how often you need to burn herbs for your work.

Rick

Agent Allister: Ask the receptionist for Mr. Bellows' belongings

Hinner

Agent frank: You should try to believe this friendly Oswald. As the owner of the bar, he should know a lot of information.Try to get close to him and build a friendship with him.Drink with him in the bar, flirt and intoxicate him. Then find a chance to use your nose to smell his body's smell and musk, collect odor information, and maybe have unexpected harvest.

Allister: Summarize the case so far. Who's missing, where they were, and so on.

AnotherMeekOne

Agent Bellows:: you need to do a full body screen on Oswald with yer snout, there maybe traces of rare substances that can provide us clues on what happened to yer dad. You’ll need to make him comfortable to do this in a way that won’t raise suspicion. Flirt with him and go to his place to seduce him and excuse yer probing as a you having a musk fetish. This is important to tell him so you can avoid him taking a shower and removing any potential evidence. When you are done tire him out by breeding, positions are up to you. Remember, this is important as to not raise suspicions and to convince him yer just a horny John visiting the town. Good luck and enjoy.

Iun9uj9u

Agent Allister the front doorman was rude and is hiding something. Even if it's unrelated, you should find out what that was about to use it as leverage later.

BillBehr

Agent Allister: I would suggest booking a for you and Agent bellows and make it a base of operations for the time being. It seems like this case will take a while to solve. Agent Bellows: This is a perfect opportunity to learn about the locals and the town, try and angle the conversation towards any strange occurrences or disappearances in the town without making it look obvious. there may be enemies lying in the shadow.

TiredFins

Agent Frank: try to befriend this Oswald character, but your main priority should be to gather information on his scent. Remember what we said about the brownies. Agent Allister: once you’ve gotten your room secure, check out the area of the hotel. The receptionist seemed nervous for more reasons than just your affiliation with the government. If you see or SMELL anything odd, immediately return to the room. Do NOT engage, no matter how tempted you are.

MdHatter

Investigating the room is unlikely to be a time sensitive matter due to the already ellapsed time since the incident. Befriending the bartender is a time sensitive matter that could provide a great amount of useful information. But thankyou for pointing out the unusual vent as it would likely have been overlooked otherwise.

Plague

Agreed. Also according to available data, all known disappearances occurred while the subject was sleeping alone. Agent Bellows can get another room without suspicion, and it is recomended that both agents sleep in the same room to reduce odds of attack.

Plague

Agent Frank: Seriously consider renting a room other than room 38 when you get to the hotel. Neither of you should sleep in the disappear zone. Agent Bellows: Try to angle the conversation to the history of the town. Is it doing well? Fallen on hard times? Might be wise to know how many people here are desperate.

Oneiros

Allister: Perhaps putting your self in Bellows' shoe's, reliving the experience might give you some hindsight. Better linking yourself with his psyche.

Muku

For Allister do to that he would need something that belongs to Otis like his blood or a cherished possession.

Fe5ter

Agent Allister: Carefully examine the air vent with gloves, the smoke is being sucked in when those units are suppose to blow air into a room. Await the arrival of Agent Frank to conduit a thorough examination of the room with his tools. Evidence may still be salvageable. Agent Frank: Pardon the intimate intrusion Agent but Agent Allister seem to have made progress in the investigation, your TOOLS would be most needed posthaste at the Inn.

Fe5ter

Allister; if you have any scrying implements, now would be the time to use them. Try to reach out to Bellows, see if you get a response.

Roselight Ivy

Allister: see if you can make any inferences on the astral plane on Otis's emotions while he was in the room by any means necessary.

Hon3ybazzer

The beaver seems friendly enough to talk to. Bartender's usually talk more about things as you get to know them, try to befriend him Frank. It should help in the case.

Kageichi

Frank: You seem to be able to hold your liquor, but don't let your guard down. We don't know what happened in this town, so trust no one.

Cid

Frank: Try to befriend Mr Oswald and see if you can get some info out of him. Maybe offer a favor in exchange for the info. Allister: You seem a little stressed. After you do your sweep of the room relax a little. Would be bad for a agent as good as you to let stress get in the way.

DePanda

Allister: You should definitely investigate the bed more. I mean, you might learn more about Bellows' disappearance by truly... communing with what went on in that bed. Whether he did lay naked on it. And what he might have done whilst naked. It might even give you a lead on the case

Robert Smith

Frank flirts with Oswald? Maybe he smells really pungent/has a good smell.

CherryDad

Frank: Get drunk with Oswald. It should loosen his lips about any potential information. His pants too. That will make him extra pliable. Allister: Maybe relieving some stress of your own will help you focus and restore the energy of the room. You have a few hours to kill anyway.
