IRON DONG TOURNAMENT: ROUND 1

heya folks! it's time to start the rule 34 tournament!
the rules are super simple! you vote wich character wins over another in a poll, and the next week you get to see a pic of the two characters being nasty!
I selected the characters you voted for and paired them up in 8 brackets selected randomly: here's the pairings!
you'll notice each character has a small icon besides his portrait! that's his PERK. When a character wins over another you also unlock his perk: The PERK is an extra option you can vote for for any other encounter in the tournament
let's say in the first round JINBEI wins, if he does, his PERK, RED PIRATES TATTOO ( the ability for you people to decide to put tattoos on a character) will get unlocked, and added to the list of the options in every other poll from there on.
to test if this works, for this first round we'll have both character's perk active, so you'll have some extra options to vote on!
It's just a silly thing to play with so the rounds don't get too stale and one sided!
anyways ,the first pair to enter the ring are peg leg pete, and the aforementioned jinbei !

It really seems like a win/win scenario and I admire the ambition here immensely! Also, I adore the 'roundness' (if I may call it that) that you apply to the characters you draw. I'm ecstatic to see that Po image in its entirety.

What would happen in the theoretical although unlikely outcome that Character A got like, Win Top: 40, Win Bottom : 40, while Character B got something like Win Top: 60, Win Bottom : 10. Would the character with the most overall win votes move on to the next round, or would the flat top poll be champ?

2019-11-29 00:48:28 +0000 UTCMan, the perks sound like such a cool addition, giving us a bit more customization to the characters and even adding their own incentives for either character to win due to the prospect of unlocking it. I am wondering how you'll end up handling said perks after the first 8 rounds are finished though since the same amount of them will have been unlocked at that point. I guess the thing I'm wondering most about is if you'll be able to fit all the options in the polls to come.
