fenris high devlog update 3

heyo pups! here's some more updates for fenris high! My programmer friend had a crazy week this time, but he managed to implement so many features! he's really a trooper!

as you can see the portraits are in now and all the action icons are functional, and we've started implementing the inventory system, so that's a huge step forward!

on the graphical side of things, i've started working on the intro of the game!

here's what i have so far, the very beginning of it, and it's not properly finished yet, but it's getting there!

we start with the title screen, on a full moon night.

when you hit the start button the UI comes up and the intro starts , while the viewport pans

down. (the ui of course is still my usual mockup put there just for reference , as the intro not being fully finished is not yet implemented.)

the camera pans to the Main Character watching his friend cavorting in a small clearing in the fenris high campus park. In the final shot here we'll see the MC knee and hand in the foreground , that will reinforce the sensation of seeing things from his point of view.

here the MC will start musing as to how he became friends with this ragtag group of losers and weirdos, while focusing on some of his friends. The first people he'll focus on are Dave and Matt. Dave is doing a 1990 dance step called the "running man" altho he's not particularly good at it. Matt is laughing is ass off at the sight of course. I'll probably fix his animation a bit, as his pecs look like they're inflating at an alarming rate ^_^'

then we move on to Ryan, Jeff and George. Ryan is of course doing his best to do things "properly" and is chugging like a sailor, something he's absolutely not used to do and that leaves him quite dazed. Jeff on the other hand is absolutely impressed by his friend's performance and happily congratulates him. George... well George is already in the warm embrace of the sandman apparently, let him sleep .XD
