What to do with Mei?

Hey everyone,
So I mentioned before that I wanted to do a poll about Meiko and what her role in the story is going to be. There has been quite a bit of speculation on Discord about what the poll is going to be about, well it's time to clear all that up.
I'm going to try and keep this vague and avoid spoilers.
My intention for Meiko, as one of the side girls in the story is that she would have her time in the game and eventually once her story had been told she would move on, possibly making an appearance later on. But she has become sort of a fan favourite and a quite a few people consider her part of the core group now. She's even won best girl once.
So, I thought I would give you guys the chance to decide her fate.
The first choice is to keep her story as I originally intended. Any lewd scenes with her will be optional and she will eventually leave the story, but may come back later on.
The second choice is that she joins the golden trio and makes it a foursome. Some of her lewd scenes will be mandatory like with Lilly and Becca. And she will be part of the story until the end.

Not really weak, just he's had a hell of a last few months that can not have made focusing easy and, as he's in business for himself and the type of very personal, hands-on business that it is, it makes sense that he's been having problems. I'm guessing that, with the divorce final and Abby's and his home secured, he'll get himself back on track--even with the Becca Plan in full swing.

It just leans into the narrative of him being kinda weak to constantly be given things by other people. He should be able to do things for his daughters himself. Mei can help ;-)

Give us a point where we can decide to bring her all the way into the "family", or let her go. I personally like the dynamic created by the three central girls; with both their long-term relationship to the MC and roles in Becca's Master Plan. To me Mei interferes with that, she feels somewhat tacked on, an outside element to the story, but I can see how some would like her as a character. I also understand how an optional route increases the complexity of your plotting and illustrating' and that that's an issue to both you guys workload and regular release times; so, in the end, go with whatever works best.

But it's a toss-up who wants to be mother vs who actually is. Mei has to discover what is fulfilling to her. Even if that's what she "doesn't mind doing" or "likes to take care of us" she should have value beyond that. Being with her as she's finding that out for herself, with or without us, is what matters to me. If she's faced with the possibility of leaving for a while I'd like the option of having something to offer her if she'll stay, just as a "you can have that here too" scenario. Having the store and the realty business at our fingertips offers a lot of opportunities.

2022-09-27 18:26:21 +0000 UTCI was honestly under the impression that all of the poster girls, Beth and Nessa included, were counted as Main Girls in some fashion, that could stay in the harem all the way to the end and beyond; so to hear that Mei was considered a side girl is pretty surprising.Characters like Darla or Madison, for example, are more what I thought of as a side girl.

It seems like her official inclusion into the harem has been building and it would be quite a disappointment for her to just leave only to maybe come back. I

If her being a side girl loses (Seems likely right now. lol) I'll eventually make a post on Discord of what my plans were with her.

2022-09-27 16:15:53 +0000 UTCI kind of feel like it would be a betrayal of her father to have him sacrificing for Meiko to spend time with you, only for you to just have a fling with her. Plus, to have her give herself to Frank the way she has, only to leave her as a side piece, seems wrong. Frank doesn't strike me as a womanizer, so a story arc where Meiko is just a side chick seems implausible to me.
