"Operative" Release

Hey all :)

Today I have for you a quick Ada Wong render inspired by the recent announcement (and subsequent release) of Separate Ways for RE4R. The model maker whose models I use hasn't gotten around to porting RE4R's Ada model yet, so this render was made with RE2R's Ada model.

As for the render itself, I post-processed it in two different styles, but the differences are pretty subtle. The first image is slightly softer with some additional post-processing effects, and the second image is slightly sharper with minimal post-processing effects. Instead of doing a third hybrid version, like I did with the previous render S+ Rank, I simply kept the additional filters on the "soft" version to a very low strength, which made an in-between hybrid style unnecessary. I think my preferred look is to keep things sharp but also apply a few filters and effects with just enough strength to avoid having the render look unnaturally detailed, if that makes sense. Sometimes in 3D art, you'll see renders that look too sharp or excessively detailed beyond how things would look in real life, and I always find that jarring. But I also know some people dislike overly processed images with filters and effects, which is why I've included the "sharp" version :)

As for the rest of the month, there aren't many days left. I do have ideas I want to work on, and I'll work on them as much as time permits, but I can't promise anything else before October. I do want to apologize again for the slow month. Even though this is just a side-hobby, which I do my best to be open and transparent that I'm not a full-time artist, I feel bad during slow months. Ideally I would like to release several renders a month, but I have to put work, family, personal obligations, and myself first. Thank you again for your support this month <3
