"Hartbreaker" Release

Race for slips? I had something else in mind...

Hey all :)

Today I have for you all a Tifa Lockhart render featuring a concept I've been wanting to explore for a long, long time — making her signature purple dress translucent/semi-transparent. Believe it or not, I actually figured out how to do this over a year ago, but the idea has just been simmering on the metaphorical back burner until now. The concept here was inspired by the Fast & Furious films, a guilty pleasure of mine. I hope you like it!

There are two versions here, featuring different post-processing but otherwise identical. The first version is what I would call my "signature look" at this point, having done renders for awhile now. It features minimal post-processing and the details are sharp on in-focus objects (aka Tifa). The second version is slightly softer and features a variety of extremely subtle post-processing filters combined together to try and make the render look slightly less... artificial, I guess, and more like an actual picture taken with a camera. However, I know not everyone is a fan of these types of filters, so that's why I offer both versions! :)

Also, in addition to offering some post-processing variety, there will be a follow-up alternate setting variant of this render very soon. If you're wondering, "why not release both versions together?" the answer is that, due to the different setting and lighting, the alternate version will need entirely new post-processing, which takes time, and I didn't want to keep you all waiting any longer than I already had since my last render. So keep your eyes out for that; most likely on Saturday (schedule and weather permitting).
