Another weekend, another little update for the upcoming mod. I hope you're having a great time and aren’t too stressed about the upcoming holidays.
First of all, let’s talk about what I’ve been working on and what’s new for the upcoming mod.
The new mod for Noelle will feature many toggles—around 40 for you all—and has 67 options in total to properly display everything. So, there will be no shortage of customization! She gets her full Vanilla Outfit with a Cow version and some Bondage elements. She will also have all body types, including a pregnancy version.
There are a few poses/actions where some versions may have slight clipping, but fixing them would have required major workarounds. I don’t think they’re too distracting or noticeable in normal gameplay. There will also be some different skin and eye options. I tried something new here, so I hope you like it.
This mod will also include the new in-game menu, giving you a quick and easy way to toggle through the options. Speaking of the menu, it now supports keyboard inputs and some controller inputs, so you can use it in controller mode without needing to switch.
Since the last Cow mod is from a while back, I revisited and reworked many of the old assets I had created. I think I’ve improved my modeling skills, so I thought, why not update them for a better look?
Cow Feet: I created proper cow feet where the hooves are now separate and more detailed. Along with that, I designed new "horseshoes" specifically for cattle (What are they actually called?). I took some references to make the design more accurate.
Horns and Ears: The horns underwent a small change, as there wasn’t much to adjust. However, I opted for a cuter, more stylized look. The ears have been reworked to appear more "solid" and less flimsy than the previous version.
Cow Face: As a nice extra, I made an actual cow face to round out the transformation. Due to the limitations of modding in this game, the face model itself can’t be changed—only the texture. To work around this, I created a "mask" that hides the original face while retaining moving elements like blinking and eyebrows.
Dynamic Toggles: I also tried to make the toggles more dynamic. Fancy word for a mod like this, I know! :P
What I mean is that I implemented restrictions and dependencies for some toggles. For instance, you won’t be able to toggle parts you don’t have access to, or certain elements might change if too many are activated. It’s a small feature to make the toggles more playful.
That’s all for now! I initially planned this as a small intermediary mod for her until version 5.3 comes out. Have you seen the trailer? I’m so hyped for the Archon! In the end, I had so much fun working on Noelle that this turned into a full release.
