"Oh fuck!", 15-year-old Futaba Sakura groaned under her breath, her right hand holding her forehead as she closed her eyes, trying to think.

She was lying on the couch, the remote control sitting on her belly as her left hand reached up to the TV, switching through several channels with the remote in her right hand.

"So, Futaba, how's that homework of yours?", her legal guardian Sojiro Sakura asks, oblivious of his adopted niece's recent plans for the next day, "Did you finished them all before you start thinking about going to that convention?"

"Soji-san, I've got my bases covered already," Futaba assures as she starts counting down everything she have done over the last few hours, leaving out her other plans, "I've completed all the assignments you gave me, finished cleaning up my room and even cleaned myself for the next day, and now, I'm just gonna rest a bit before I go to sleep, okay?"

"That's good to hear, but are you sure you won't be bringing any friends to that event?", Sojiro asked.

"Well, I would, but it's hard to find one that would come with me. Besides, I don't wanna bother them with my own little problem."

"Hmm, well, that's understandable. At least I could say you've grown up since you've decided to leave your room and start attending school."

"Heheh, I'm not gonna be holed up in here all the time, you know? That would be a waste of my new life!"

"I'm glad to hear that, and hey, don't stay up too late, okay?", Sojiro said, finishing up his work and taking his leave, "We're gonna close shop, so see you tomorrow. Don't forget to lock the door."

"Okay! See ya, Soji-san!"

After bidding farewell to her legal guardian, the young girl then grabs her empty mug and fills herself a nice cup of coffee, adding a little bit of cream and sugar, and heads back up to her bedroom. Taking a seat on her gaming chair and took the time to indulge herself with a cup of coffee, the young 15-year-old begins looking around her room and ensuring there's no one watching her, making sure the door to her room is locked shut and the windows closed, for having some noisy neighbors complain about the "problems" she'll about to make is the last thing she doesn't want.

With everything is all set, Futaba takes a deep breath and opens the Realizer App, taking one last settings check for a couple more times before she brought up the "Presets" and hovering her first choice of transformation, the "Ayanami, Rei" preset, her finger just above the "Applying Changes!" button as the girl let out audible sigh of determination.

"This is it!", the teenager exclaimed, closing her eyes as she took a deep breath, pressing the button.
