Patreon subscriptions + iOS App charges
Added 2024-08-31 21:23:52 +0000 UTCJust so people know and are aware of what's happening with Patreon's subscriptions:
When you join my Patreon, you are charged on the day you sign up. Then, you are charged monthly on that same date. This is going to jumble up some of the rewards (I have a separate post found here, talking about older rewards and what you should do if you have any owed work). Example: You join on the 12th of June, you will be charged on the 12th of July. This method of payment is going to make lump sum month payout not work, which I was using to cover rent and bills. This hopefully shouldn't affect YOU as much as it was talked about.
As for those who are using iOS app to subscribe to Patreon:
PLEASE consider using an alternative method of payment instead of the iOS APP payment processor. Apple is being very aggressive about fees and charges when using their iOS payment processors. Using an alternate payment method helps both me and you out financially. Thank you for your continued support and patience!
