It's Marvel Monday!!! back with Avengers: Age of Ultron. I love seeing all the characters come together for this epic movie.  Sorry for the delay on this one I ended up with Covid over the holidays and had to take some time off filming. I'm feeling much better now and I ended up binge watching several movies over the last two days (John Wick, The Truman show, and Cool Hand Luke) The full lengths will be uploaded this weekend!

Hope you guys enjoy this reaction :)

Sorry I'm late but I also wrote a comment on the Guardians post that hopefully you check out. So this movie was a lot I know, but it'd be cool to hear your thoughts on stuff like what Tony wanting to make a "suit of armor around the world" Cause these things are definitely prevelant and important to think about philosophically alone. So yeah Vibranium is the name of the metal that Steve's shield is made of. It's also what the red guy is made of. His name is Vision. And inside Lokis Scepter is another of these "Infinity Stones" so it remains in Visions head. I think you forgot what that Scepter does. Remember, Loki used it to brainwash people and make them slaves essentially. And yeah Vision is worthy so he's definitely a decent guy is he passes Odins spell of what defines as "worthy" and as for Cap..... I'll leave that to you to decide but when he tried to pull the hammer, you definitely saw it budge. 😉 The brothers name is Pietro, his alter ego is Quicksilver and yep he's got super speed. Wanda's alter ego is the Scarlett Witch, but you'll see more about that later. Something you might have missed is what happened to them as kids. The bombs that collapsed their home and killed their parents was a Stark weapon. More of Tony's dark past catching up with him when he used to basically be a war profiteer. That's why they hate Tony. Bruce can't just go green anywhere, after you've seen what destruction he can cause.... yeah no he can only do that when its life and death. Hulk doesn't really control himself so it's a pick and choose moment when Bruce decides he needs to turn. And Hulk left Natasha because I think even he knew that he's a danger to everyone, including Natasha, whom I think Hulk also cares for along with Bruce. Remember that Bruce and Hulk are basically two different people. Almost like different personalities sharing a body. Hulk is not just Bruce really angry, it's another person. Clint was really good this movie. Hum being fleshed out with his family really elevated his character for me. He brings a level of humanity to the Avengers. And that joke about mind control was really funny, cause he spent half of the first Avengers movie being mind controlled by Loki. I want to briefly talk about everyone's visions that Wanda gave them because they actually are really important for their characters and what they fear. So Tony is afraid of him dooming the entire world and getting all of his friends killed because he "Didn't do enough". His lack of action will kill everyone. Thats the reason he started his journey in the first place. His lack of action or care making weapons of war got innocent people killed. That fear keeps causing him to want to protect the world with extreme uses like Ultron. Natasha has the flashbacks from her time in the Red Room. Her being trained as as assassin and even being made to not have children, makes her fear she'll never be able to clean the red out of her ledger. That she's only capable of being a killing machine. Thor is afraid that his leadership will lead his people to Hel. That his power as a God will do nothing but tear Asgard apart. Steve doesn't know who he is without war. In Winter Soldier, its even mentioned a little bit. His whole life has been about the fight, and that's admirable, as he's saved millions of lives. But it's not sustainable for him being happy. He's never thought about something just for himself. When Peggy in his vision asked if they are ready for their dance, when they did dance, there was no music. No real happiness. He's never pondered that life. Ultron is a really good villain. The world isn't as simple as "keep things nice, tidy, and peaceful." Chaos happens because people have free will and choice. You cant take away freedom for order. That's madness. He looked at the history of humanity and was immediately overwhelmed. Ultron looked at the internet for five minutes and decided humanity needs to go. 😅 He's not wrong either. We're kinda fucked up as a species and sometimes I'm not sure we deserve saving or redemption. His rage and hatred makes sense. The guy at the end was not a Frost Giant. That, was Thanos. The same Thanos who is Gamora and Nebulas father from Guardians of the Galaxy. The same Thanos who gave Loki the Scepter and the Chitauri army in the first Avengers movie. And now he's getting involved directly. Super dangerous stuff. Next movie is Ant Man! Really good movie as well and I can't wait for your reaction to it!
