[Full Length Reaction] Thor: The Dark World (2013) - Marvel Monday!!!

OK, so a couple of things For one, you missed the end credit scenes again. There are two of them, so please make sure you watch those at some point cause these become pretty important. Just try and make it a habit to go and check through the credits from now on. Also a small question, I couldn't tell if you have subtitles or not for your movies. Could you understand what the Dark Elves were saying when they spoke their language? If not, you were supposed to see subtitles showing what they are saying. Please make sure you have subtitles in your reactions or at least a place that has those for the foreign languages spoken. Mainly watching these on Disney Plus is the best place cause all the movies are located there, and all of them have translated subtitles. Just want to make sure. People actually say this movie is one of the lesser MCU films. I still quite like it a lot. So, if you noticed, Loki learned magic from his mother, who used the illusionary magic to trick Malekith when he came for Jane in Asgard. Loki is a Frost Giant, so he wasn't born with that power. He was taught it. Proof that Loki was alive was when we saw the guard appearing in the Dark World. You could see that golden/green flash of magic covering the guards' spear, signifying Lokis' magic and him transforming into that guard to fool Odin. So yeah, Loki is not dead. The important question is.... what happened with Odin? If Loki is now going to essentially hijack the throne and masquerade as Odin.... what did he do with his father? Plus, how could Loki overpower Odin, who in mythology is literally a God of Gods? We will have to wait and see... One other thing. About that big guy who killed Frigga and who "killed" Loki? His name in the comics is Kurse. He's nearly unstoppable. As we saw on the Dark World when he fought Thor, he literally smacked Mijolnir (Thors Hammer) out of its path as Thor called it back to him. The same Hammer, not even Hulk could budge. The one that only worthy people can lift. No, Kurse is not worthy, but him managing to hit it out of its flight path means he is a very powerful being. The Jewel thing that Kurse crushed to transform him into the monster he was was not the Aether. You asked if Jane would have powers like he did. It was just Dark Elven magic. It was not the Aether, so unrelated entirely. The next movie is Captain America: The Winter Soldier! It is one of my favorite MCU movies, and it is highly regarded by the popular voice of MCU fans, too. Can't wait for you to see it! Again, make sure to always just check the end credits at the end of your Marvel reactions! See you then, Caroline!
