Iron Man III (2013) - Full Length Reaction

Super sorry I'm late to this again, but yeah Tony is probably in the best state he's been in. He's much more healthy by the end. So the shrapnel is what was killing him. Shrapnel are just pieces of sharp metal, usually found in explosives like grenades or missiles. When left inside, the metal moves around with your flesh, and can kill you if they penetrate any vital organs. The Arc Reactor is what kept him alive. Its an electromagnet, so the magnetic property obviously attracts metal. So it kept it in place, keeping the shrapnel from killing him. Once he got the idea for the Iron Man suits, it also served as a power source. So now he got surgery to get the shrapnel out of him. The end result is that he doesn't need to keep the Arc Reactor in his body anymore, like it was throughout his movies. He still needs it to power Iron Man suits, so it will be that center chest light still, but there won't be the light on his body, because he doesn't need to keep it in him anymore. Super happy you remembered the end credit scene Caroline! And yeah I really like this movie a lot. In the comics, The Mandarin is Iron Man's arch nemesis. Like Joker to the Batman. And a lot of comic fans really hated the Trevor Slattery twist, cause they wanted to see the actual Mandarin on screen fighting Tony. Understandable, but Sir Ben Kinglsley who played Trevor is a godly actor, and he busted out the comedy chops for this and I loved it😍 Next movie is Thor: The Dark World! Can't wait for the reaction, and just as a reminder, pretty much all movies will have two end credit scenes from now on. One at the very end like this one, and one in the mid credits. Like the animated part where it shows off clips from past movies here. There sometimes are more, but yeah there's two in nearly every one from now on so be on the lookout!
