The Avengers (2012) - Full Length Reaction (Marvel Monday!)

I'm back watching the Marvel Cinematic Universe :) It's been a couple months but I'm so glad I jumped back in with The Avengers! I love seeing all the superhero's join forces and fight as a team.
The plan going forward is to upload a new Marvel movie every Monday.

2022-11-28 02:07:23 +0000 UTCSuper happy you're back Caroline! Just a couple things to maybe catch you up or that you missed cause I know you've been very busy on your break. Congrats on your kid! So first and foremost, you missed the end credit scenes. At the end of pretty much every Marvel movie from now on, there will be most of the time 2 scenes. 1 during the mid credits like with the cinematic stuff, and 1 at the very end of the normal credits. In your free time, please make sure to go back and just check the two scenes in this movie, as one of them is very important. And the other is very funny 😅 So some fun things about this movie. For one, when Steve gave Fury 10 dollars when he was on the main hub of the Helicarrier, it was a callback to the bet they made. In the gym, Fury said "10 bucks says you're wrong" about Steve not being surprised by anything in the new world. Seeing a flying ship definitely shocked him lol. And yeah even in the comics, Captain America is kind of the leader of the Avengers. He's not the smartest, not the strongest or the fastest. But in terms of leadership, tactical ability, and honestly experience in battle, there is no one better at this stuff than Steve. So yeah Tony puts aside his Ego, and Thor and even Hulk of all people listen to Cap cause in battle you can rely on his mind. As for your question about Hulk vs Thor, well it depends. Hulks main power is his immense strength. And with Hulk it's dangerous to fight him because the angrier Hulk gets, the stronger he gets. The Gamma radiation in his blood just get more and more amplified. So really in theory, Hulks strength is limitless. But Thor is a literal God, you even saw without his Hammer, he stopped Hulks fist with his bare hands on the Helicarrier. So I think Base Thor is stronger than Hulk, but if the fight goes on, Hulk could get the upper hand because he will just get stronger and stronger. Thor also has his hammer, Mijolnir, which Hulk couldn't even lift because he wasn't worthy. Remember Odin put a spell on it in the first Thor movie that only those who are worthy may "Possess the power of Thor". So it doesn't matter how strong Hulk is. Not even he can pick up that Hammer. That combined with Thors Lightning, would give Hulk a hard fight if they went all out. But they are allies, so it's not too likely that will ever happen. We finally also see Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye make a true appearance. He shows up very briefly in the first Thor when he was on Earth, going for his Hammer. Barton was up on a crane lift, using a Bow and arrow instead of a gun. Now we know why. He's got killer accuracy with that thing 😅 One other thing, just remember that Tony kind of needs that thing in his chest, the Arc Reactor to survive. In the first Iron Man, he was blasted point blank with a missile explosion and got metal shrapnel in his chest. The Arc Reactor is an electromagnet to keep the metal in place and stop it from reaching his heart. It also is a strong power source that he uses for his Iron Man suits. So its got two purposes and so he's gotta keep that in him as long as the shrapnel is too. Can't wait for Phase 2! Iron Man 3 is next and again just remember the end credit scenes. They are in every movie so just kind of scan over the movie for 2. Iron Man 3 has one but just make sure! See you next time!
