Lush's Portfolio Expansion! Week 3

Alright, this week was a bit slower. A lot slower. On the painting and practice run. But, I have a family of bears painting (for my brother's birthday.) And the starting of my own "Ring."

I was also working on a sewing project this week, for Halloween. (I sewed a red cloak) And furniture assembly, the first supplies that were included in my budget came in and had to spend a chunk of a day assembling easels and lamps.

I'm definitely starting to feel all those, musings and questions about what kind of artist I am and want to be swirling around in my head. As I learned at the beginning of this year, I have a bit of a hard time with infinite possibility. My perfectionism peeks through a bit more. It's a bit stressful. I shouldn't be expecting every piece I make during this time period to be a masterpiece. And I'm learning a lot. But- - - I'm definitely prone to being unfair to myself when I think I should be doing "better."

BUT! We'll see- I still managed to finish a big painting and do some other stuff- so it's not like I did "nothing." I just wanted- to do more.
