This is a page I'd been meaning to do since last year, actually, but time has not cooperated. Finally taking advantage of life settling down to get it out.
It doesn't matter to me if you agree with Desdemona's sentiment, and how it influences Beth, but this is just intended to shed light onto her reasons. And also to draw what her son will look like, while he still has his kitten spots.

I don't know if this was one of the suggestions or not, but I think Jason could be a cute name since it was also the name of her first boyfriend. "All my skepticism about love melted when I finally had some of my own." Giving that name to her cub could remind Beth of how important and fulfilling love can be, and how it can be found through her kid.

Based on her sister's comments, Beth is right around 40, which would place this comic in the period between Original Life and OL+5. Is that close, or was there a different point where this would be? Also there's the obvious question of what is his name? Regardless, the last panel is extremely touching, and IMO you really nailed the proud parent look on Beth's face.

I get that a lot of your work is for the porn, but I have always been here more for the story, and the writing. This is way more satisfying for me as a reader. It really tied it all together so much better.
