Added 2020-05-10 01:15:12 +0000 UTCFound some time after work to do this. Wasn't quite sure about how prevalent I should make energy weapons or something that seems far fetched by comparison. I settled in some kind of magnetically assisted cartridges. Ah well.

One of my rp characters uses a Metal Storm like pistol with seven barrels. Superposed caseless rounds electronical triggered. A selecfor allows for anything from semi, spaced burst, or "fuckitall", a million-RPM near-simultaneous firing of all rounds for an "accurate shotgun" affect.

A 10mm bolt could turn a man's torso into a cloud of pink steam, but it would ground on the firat obstruction, meaning they were worse than useless in heavy forest or tall grass.

2020-05-10 22:26:49 +0000 UTCHave you read the "Hammer's Slammers" series by David Drake? They had magizine fed energy/laser pistols and rifles where the ammunition were capaciters (batteries) that provided the power for a single shot and then were ejected.

Now comes the hard part of actually putting more lore into it on how they work. But how can I put my support towards this side of your art because it just really excites me very much.
