Let's Talk - May + Poll

It’s been a while since we’ve talked. So allow me to say some words! If you’re not interested in my words, just enjoy Victoria above!

So, at the beginning of this year we switched to 20 pages of comics every Monday, Wednesday and Friday after a vote late last year. I must say I’m a fan, it definitely allows stories to wrap up quicker. I hope you all have been enjoying this change in the schedule as well, let me know!

One thing that is on my mind is the comic on Wednesday. It’s a very, very big one at this point of course (though it’s almost at its end!). I’m a little divided on this. I don’t dislike the really long format that I’m using now for these comics. And I’m still definitely interested in further exploring a world filled with amazons. But perhaps it’s better to do it in a shorter format as well, like chapters much as the rest of the stories? In that case it wouldn’t be “separate” from the other comics anymore of course, which might create confusion as to what “universe” they belong to. On the other hand, it’d allow me to steer away from a story if it isn’t well received.

So I'd like to know what has your preference, keep the same long comics as we have it right now, or switch around to the shorter format? And would you want the "X of Amazons" series to continue? Or would you just want it to be another slot to be chosen by a poll for entirely different story lines and settings?

As for the rest, the regular content is eating up an awful lot of my time. So it can be hard to find time for bigger projects, though they’re always in the back of my mind when I do have time!

Honestly, I enjoy Wednesday long story, but if you want to explore shorter format to give way to more interesting plot elements and then I would say do what you feel is best

It's an interesting idea, but in general it's a lot of work to create new characters, new scenes and essentially new stories. Let alone that I'd need to roughly write and lay out the entire story before even starting those 20 pages to make sure it actually makes sense further down the line. It'd be an awful lot of work for stories that don't even have a huge chance of making it to completion. And all of those stories would obviously start with just establishing the setting and characters, which would take up a decent chunk of those first 20 pages, essentially guaranteeing 0 action in these pitches. But, I do feel you're right about there being not enough action, I'll definitely work on that in future stories.

Love all your stories and the 20 page releases. But family of Amazons is what a thousand pages now. Variety is the spice of life. Crazy thought what if Wednesday post were to become a 20 sampler of a story premise. Like the weekly sets from the past. Four plots intro a month where we vote each month which one gets picked up into rotation for M/F in longer format. The M/F storylines be limited to two months or ~160 pages (8 weeks at 20 page) in two months. Sometimes there is so much filler in the long format for the sake of the story. Im here for muscle girls in action being the focus of each weekly release story not so much. My 2 cents for what it’s worth

You doing great. Maintain what you have been doing. Love the 20 page format 3 times a week.
