Your Place 0.12-0.20v [game](WIP)/ Love in futa time 2 [video](WIP) aug/30

Hello, everyone!

Post only for patreons because it includes adult images.

This week's progress has been similar to previous weeks: focused on the script and renderings of the return boat trip.

About the script. It took me much longer than expected to finish the outbound boat trip. I thought (mistakenly) that with only one long dialogue scene it would be faster, but I was completely wrong. The trip is made up of eight animations and more than 300 renders. There were originally 350, but I've eliminated some as they were redundant. The idea of the boat trip was to make the passage of time noticeable, since the journey in game time is several hours long, and things had to happen... but I went overboard, as usual. Dialogue, presentations, animations, transitions: too much.

Because of this problem, I've decided that in future updates I won't separate the script writing from the rendering, but rather I'll try to do them in parallel at the same time. This way, I avoid having too many renders because something I've realized these weeks is that after so much time, I've been forgetting the purpose of some shots I rendered, but that these days I simply don't find a use for them, or they're too repetitive and end up being deleted.

About the renders: The ship animations are finished, as are the post-animation detail shots, the subsequent transition scene, and the subsequent dialogue between Mimi and the MC. This dialogue has caused several complications with the lighting, as the default lighting on the ship is too dark and the spotlights are too high, so I had to add artificial light points to illuminate the characters' faces. This wouldn't have been a problem if I hadn't increased the intensity of those light points during the dialogue to make the conversation feel more vivid (with more light), and I didn't put that increase in the first frame of the conversation, but in the middle.

It's a similar problem to the one I mentioned the other week with the interpolation between animation frames: if a frame in a series to be rendered has a specific value (more intense light) at a given moment, this alters the previous frames in a "wavy" manner, making it seem like the light turns on and off between one image and the next. In this case, it was my mistake, and I had to render the dialogue twice, manually entering the number of lumens in each frame, which is simple and quick to do, unlike an animation that can take hours if you try to manually correct bone problems. But that's a different story! To summarize, the problem with the dialogues is fixed, and the one with the animations is fixed in a more "traditional" way (with camera tricks).

The update situation, in summary, is as follows. Obviously, time has completely slipped away. The good news is that I'm finally getting the final part done. Based on the experience of the last few weeks, I should finish the renders before the script, even though renders take longer to complete than the script. For example: rendering an image can take up to an hour, but editing the image, renaming it, and including it in the script with a line of dialogue or an interface takes just a few minutes. Just yesterday, I wrote the script for 50 shots, which will likely take two or more weeks to render. The remaining script will be long: a lot of dialogue, and that will delay the release the most, so I'll try to focus on writing as much as possible.

On the other hand, there's still the last part of the chapter to render, which is a plot twist I decided to add, taking into account the time it will take me to finish the script. Since it seems more optimal, I'll extend the update even further and add more content so that any unforeseen extra time in the script isn't wasted and the update is as complete as possible.

So, in the coming days (and weeks), the plan will be to continue rendering the final part and writing the script. Right now, in the final part, there will be a tense scene when the ship is caught in a storm and the characters realize that something has happened outside... Something I will explain briefly in upcoming news to avoid giving away too many spoilers.

Regarding Love in Futa Time 2:
The editing of this last chapter still in progress.
