"Charge up Front" and/or $3 early access?

Charge up front, please. When wanting to support many artists on patreon, 1$ each can add up pretty fast. I hope there will be a 1$ tier still. In general the higher a basic tier goes the less artists I can pledge to. To me 3$ could mean having to stop pledging to 2 others :/

You aren't already doing charge up front? That needs to be a must! That'll cut content stealing in half

Consider that a lot of people paying you aren't necessarily paying you to get access to content, they're paying you so you keep doing what you do.

Charge up-front. Always. I'd go with 5$ but if 3$ suits you better and you want fewer people left out, go ahead, it's your right. 👍

Definitely charge up-front. 5$ is your choice. Plenty of artists charge about that much for special works. However, I'd say still include the current 5$ reward as well. Or hell, make the 5$ reward the 1$.

CUF would be the most effective due to the fact that there are ways to get around higher prices with minimal effort. Don't let the leakers discourage you, Janner.

Up front for sure, as for 3$, seems like a happy medium. I'm ok either way. You don't want to loose your patrons, but at the same time, we don't want you to loose your passion for this. Sure, getting something from fans that appreciates your animations/creations, but you, and we, don't want something that upsets you and passion/love for this. Sorry if I'm over assuming.

Charge up front is hard to argue against, people would be hard pressed to blame you for that change. Also, I personally don't believe $5 is too much. This is quality stuff here.

When my finances settle out, i was planning on upping my pledges to all my artists. You of course in the top list. Early access at a higher rate doesn't bother me, so long as i get access. ;)

You should set "Charge Up Front" anyway, but if you feel like upping the "Early Access" price, I'm in there. You're too good not to support.

Charge up front in my book - course you already know that. =P As for $5 being too much, I honestly don't think so. You're easily one of the best animators I've seen around, and the fact that you make your own models, textures, environments and everything lends credence to a WELL-justified (and modest) pricetag of $5. I don't mean to alienate those that feel $5 is too much, but artists like Jessica don't grow on trees, people. If you were ever to support a creator, this is the one.
