I've pledged because I wanted to support you even though I've seen your leaked stuff from before elsewhere - in fact that's what brought me here. Same goes for (to me) many other artists, even 1$ each adds up at some point.

Some people do $3 instead of 5. It may be a happy medium. Enough to keep your fans, as well as enough to dissuade the pirates. Imo 5 is where you start getting into hd releases. Or exclusive bonus stuff you never plan to release on Tumblr, e621, ECT.

I think it's not a problem. Sometimes it even works otherwise - some people will post your patreon content in different places/boards, which will increase your popularity=help you with getting more supporters here :)

After reading all of the feedback, I can empathise with people that can't afford the $4 extra per month. I'll leave it at $1 for now.

Some people, like myself, can't afford to give $5 to every patron, as I have multiple $1 Patrons I like to support (because it doesn't break my bank). I'm patient enough to wait the two weeks, and if you do lose a few $1 patrons at least you require less patrons at the $5 to make up for it. I hope it goes well either way, but remember: if you're popular enough, your stuff will get leaked. It's just a matter of time, and it happens to every artist. Upping the cost won't really negate it, just lower the chances it'll happen right away. Patreon is more about supporting the individual. Even if things get leaked, some will still support regardless.

Thing is - it is not a paywall. Paywall means you have to pay to get something. In Janner's case, it's simply early access and a show of support to what she does.

If you treat patreon like a paywall, you're gonna have a bad time. The more exclusive you make the content, the more people will resort to getting it from some imageboard instead. With the current access being only $1 though, it's hardly worth the effort of lurking those threads or waiting when I can just get it directly from you. It's the reason I just recently became an Imp at least.

I think you can still pledge higher, observe things and then change to a lower tier after looking at things. I know it was a complaint in the past by some and I don't know if they have fixed it. Or changed it so they can't do it.

It would make sense to raise the early access price if people are leaking what would be public content eventually so readily. It's not fair for them to do so in regards to other patrons and it's not good to you as the creator of these works as it attacks the value of what you are producing.

I was starting to really enjoy getting stuff earlier, and at lowest tier even, which is great for my limited budget. But I guess I could go back to normal wait times. I'd most likely and up dropping my pledge in such a case though. I'd prefer to get something out of each little Dollar.

Eh. If you must. Do it then. I agree. I can understand showing your (very close possibly) friends, but what's the point of actually leaking?! Most of it is going to be public anyway, just with a delay. 😕

I hate to say it, but I'd probably have to drop my current pledge as going up to $5 would be a bit much for me at the moment (though by preference I'd happily pledge at the higher amount). Without the incentive I suspect it might cause a lot of those $1 pledges to drop out compared to the ones upping to $5 (though ideally not). Ultimately the jerks leaking your work suck. Perhaps require new pledges to pledge for a minimum number of months before getting early access? That wouldn't unduly impact those of us already pledging and getting the early access.

You would probably do more harm to your own patrons by cashwalling the content than anyone leaking it out slightly early ever would. And thats if someone in the higher donation pool isn't doing it as well. If thats the case then you've basically negated all your $1 donation privileges without any actual change to the issue, likely encouraging them to just go see the leaked content somewhere else and potentially cancel their donation in retaliation.

While I believe that people determined to do that sort of thing will be dead set indeed on doing it no matter what, meaning they might continue to do so, I don't fault you at all for trying to minimize losses and protect yourself. I am currently only a $1 patron, but honestly I should probably be a $5 or more patron anyways, given how much I enjoy and appreciate your content. Truly my favorite characters/animations on the web, or anywhere for that matter. A concern to keep in mind would be that this change could drive off some of the less invested patrons, perhaps pushing them towards seeking out those leaked versions. At the same time though, more people would be pledging at higher levels too, so it might actually even out. A larger, less loyal viewership, or a slightly smaller, yet avid audience. I'm personally doing this to support you, predominantly, and will go with whatever you decide.

This change would not deter leaking at all. Much like life, the internet always finds a way. This change would hurt patrons such as myself, who have been here since day 1, but can really only afford to pledge a dollar.

I'm in support for you to increase it to stop the early stuff frim being leaked but I personally will have to unsub just because I don't see a reason to spend $5 on some porn that I'd see weeks later anyway. I don't mean to sound entitled or anything, sorry. Plus, I doubt my $5 would be missed

Honestly, I don't think increasing the price will dissuade piss stains of society to steal your content. I'm used to waiting for your next animation anyway so we could go back to that. Or I'll pay $5 a month. Money or time, your work is worth both.

I personally think you should do this. You work hard to provide us with lovely smut and lewds. As people who genuinely support you, including myself, by paying you "X" amount of dollars per month we are given the opportunity to see your works before public release. Bye having the pay wall up it will keep those less invested in supporting you at bay. I pay "X" dollars a month to support you, the porn is mearly a bonus. I say increase the pay wall to 5$ for early access and see the results. Waiting 2 weeks to see Demon Futas go at it isn't that long of a wait. Those who care should stay, and those who don't might just leave.

Do whatever you think is best for your work. I have no problem waiting a little longer for your content, it's worth the wait.
