Boom-Tube: One-Sided.

Greetings All!

Sadly not a galactic teleporter, but it is still technically July right? I really enjoyed the idea of a scratched off firework, with an unknown element to it. It's going to help but how? So I tied it to a few dazzling spells that could be used as a display, and this is what I came up with.

UPDATE: The Sky Flowers will be coming out as well, making it more natural looking with a nod towards control spells through dazzling displays over boom-booms.

I truly hope you enjoy it, this format could apply to quite a few various spells as well, just picked my favorites.

Description:

These carry several names depending on the area of production, from Sky Flowers to Boom-Tubes. This variety, known as the Boom-Tube, was made ages ago in bulk production and now finds its way through hands and to fateful user. Most were developed with a label, however age and time have worn and tattered them beyond reading. Now the best one can do is light, point, and hope for something special.

• Magic by Ignition: As an Action, the user can ignite and aim the Firework at a creature or a space then roll a 1d6 to determine the effect from the list below. No matter the outcome, the effect uses a spell attack bonus of +5 and a DC:13 and the detonation can be heard up to 500ft away.
  • 1 - Scorcher: Imperial
  • 2 - Ear Boomer: Shatter spell at 3rd Level. (4d8 Fire damage)
  • 3 - Imperial Candle: Magic Missile spell at 3rd Level. (5 Darts)
  • 4 - Show Stopper: Fireball spell. (8d6 Fire damage)
  • 5 - Green-Dragon: Faerie Fire (Maintained without Concentration)
  • 6 - Razzle Dazzle: Color Spray at 3rd Level. (10d10 Hit Points effected)
• Once used, this item is left inert as a Mundane tube.
