This was a great chapter, your descriptions of battle are evocative and make it ease to conjure the scene up in the mind. I like that Hermione stuck to her guns, it's completely within her character to think dueling like this is barbaric and that Harry has nothing to prove. Though I assume she'll give him an ear washing to disuise being worried about his injuries.
