10月の御礼とか

ぶなぴー397円センセのコラボ表紙におっかけコラボしてみました。

10月はご支援頂きありがとうございました。

コミケ後からずっと余裕が無くて申し訳ない。

2ヶ月も何してたんだというイメージかもしれませんが、僕的には

「コミケの次が今なんだよ！」

という感じなのです。

原因は新作

「君は輝く月花のように」

の原稿が結構大変で、締め切りを1週間も押してしまったことにあります。

久々の完全新作で予想以上に作画に時間が;;;

ページ数も割と多めだったし。

そしてもう一つの原因は10月末に行われた女性向け同人誌イベント

COMIC CITY SPARK 19

通称スパークになぜか新刊を持って参加したということ;;;

スパークは流石に新刊は作らないか、作っても12ページくらいのおまけ本を会場限定で頒布する程度を想定していたのですが、発表された配置が壁。

普通に困る。

サークルてろめあなは確かにコミケではそこそこ実績ありますがね、女性向けはガチ新人だぞ？

絶対島中、良くて誕席程度だとたかを括っていたのですが完全に見誤った。

壁じゃ手ぶらってわけにいかねー。

で、メガストアの原稿を上げた直後から例のアスカガの新刊を制作していたというわけ。

まさかこんな短いスパンでアスカガのエロ本を連続で作るとは。

まぁでもなんとか新刊も間に合って、イベントでもなかなか好評でよかったのですが。

さて、一旦メガストアの新作の方に話を戻しましょう。

新生メガストアも2周年。

この記念号の表紙を担当させていただきました。

「君は輝く月花のように」はみなさん本作は読んでいただけたでしょうか？

エロ漫画雑誌で本格的な新シリーズはほんとうに久しぶりです。

「レイカは華麗な僕のメイド」以来なので、10年ぶりくらいでしょうか？

普通のエロ漫画家のキャリアではちょっとありえないスパンですね。

本作のヒロイン、東雲輝夜は隠すまでもなくレイカさんの娘です。

レイカさんと怜治くんの娘なのでそれはもう大変な美女ですが、彼女はあくまで人間なので、レイカさんほどの強固なメイド哲学は持っていません。

それゆえに、彼女は母の見ている世界に強い好奇心を抱いており、いつかどこかで母のように誰かに依存的なほど尽くしてみたいと思っている…というわけ。

今回輝夜ちゃんを通して描きたい物語は、

「レイカがメイドに目覚めた始まりの物語」

実際はレイカさんは覚醒した瞬間からメイドに目覚めていたわけですが、彼女の娘である輝夜を通して僕は「メイドの権化」の生い立ちを描いてみたいと思っているわけです。

まぁとはいえ、実際に1話を描いてみたところ輝夜ちゃんは僕が想定していたよりポンコツな感じなので、

「母親のことを知りたいと思って背伸びしてるだけのチョロイン」になる可能性が大ですが。

「君は輝く月花のように」が今後連載作品として続くかどうかは読者の反応次第となっておりますので、ぜひアンケートなどで感想をお寄せ下さい。

そういえば、僕は4号に1回のペースで表紙描いてますね。

連載終わったはずなのに仕事熱心だなw

I apologize for the lack of updates from the end of Comiket all the way up until today.

You may be wondering what I have been doing for two months, but for me those two months were a blink of an eye.

The reason for this is that working on the manuscript of my new work, “You are like a shining moonflower, you captivate my heart,” was more difficult than I had imagined.

I missed the original deadline by a week.

It was my first new work in so long that it took time for my hand to get used to it.

And there were a lot of pages

Yet another cause.

At the end of October, a new work was submitted to the women's coterie magazine event ‘COMIC CITY SPARK 19’.

At first I had planned not to show my new work at this event, but when the seating arrangements were announced, I was forced to change my plans.

I couldn't afford not to make a new work.

I had to start work on the next piece as soon as the Core Magazine manuscript was finished, without a break.

I never imagined that I would produce two AthCaga books in such a short span of time.

But, thanks to my hard work, my work was welcomed by female readers.

I had a fresh experience and enjoyed it, so I'm happy with the result.

Now let's back up for a moment and talk about the new Megastore.

The reborn megastore also celebrated its second anniversary.

I was in charge of the cover of its anniversary issue.

It's been a really long time since I've tried a serious new work in an erotic manga magazine.

It's probably been ten years or so.

The heroine of this work, Shinonome Kaguya, is, needless to say, Reika's daughter.

Kaguya is the daughter of Reika and Reiji, so she is a very beautiful woman, but she is only human and does not have as firm a will as Reika.

She therefore has a strong curiosity about the world as her mother sees it and wants to imitate her.

I want to portray Reika's past through Kaguya this time.

Through Kaguya I want to express the sentiments of Reika when she was young.

However, after actually producing one episode, Kaguya turned out to have a much more endearing personality than I had imagined.

Perhaps she may not end up being a maid like her mother.

Whether this new work will continue in the future depends on reader response.
