2月の御礼とか　Thanks for February.

先月はご支援頂きありがとうございました。

今月もよろしくお願いします。

単行本フェア用の描き下ろし…の、ボツver。

月曜日に入稿だったので土日で仕上げたものの、その月曜の朝になって「これは仕上がらない系のやつ」と直感し、頭以外全部描きなおしてお昼には別画像を入稿する…という、

「俺の土日は？」

という案件でした。

まぁよくある話。

流石に僕もプロの端くれなので、「あ、これ収束しないやつ」と直感することがあります。

基本的に問題ない、できてはいる。

あとちょっと仕上げれば文句なし、完成。

でもそのあとちょっとが、永遠に届かない。

ゴールに辿り着かない。

そういう場合はさっさと見限ったほうが結局早く仕上がるし、出来も良いのです。

僕はそいう作品を「収束しないやつ」と呼んでいます。

収束しないやつはたいてい、ラフの段階でイメージがあやふやな部分があり、

「描きながら仕上げよう」と棚上げしたものです。

作品作りはえてして、最初のラフの段階で8割終わってるのです。

いや正しくは、ラフの段階で8割終わってるモノだけ仕上げるべきなのです・・・

さて、2月は「人妻が種を孕むまで」とレイカ単行本の特典作業にいそしんでおりました。

単行本の特典は想定の3…いや、5倍くらいあります。

まだ公式発表されてないので詳細は秘密ですが、数が多いのでドスケベな感じのも描いてますw

Thank you for your support last month.

I will do my best again this month.

This was an illustration that was intended to be a bonus for a bookstore, but I rejected it.

I had promised to submit this on Monday, so I worked hard on Saturday and Sunday to finish it.

But on the morning of the day, I had a gut feeling.

This will never reach the finish line.

In the end, I erased everything but the head and redrew it from the beginning.

What in the world was the point of what I had done on Saturday and Sunday?

Well, things like this happen all the time.

You may wonder why, but as you gain experience, you will intuitively know which works cannot be completed.

There is nothing wrong with the fundamentals.

It is not that the level of completion is low.

It will be completed in a short while.

But that "almost there" will never be finished.

The goal is never reached.

When faced with such work, even if it takes a long time, it is better to give up and remake the work, because it will eventually be finished faster and better.

I call such work "those who do not converge.

Such works are those that are lacking in the initial image.

The work is 80% finished when you start it.

To be precise, you should only make a work that is 80% finished at the beginning, but...it doesn't work out that way.

Last month, I was busy making illustrations for "Until Married Woman Conceives Seed" and the bonus illustrations for Reika's book.

There are 3...no, 5 times more bonus items than expected.

That's a huge number.

The details are still a secret since the official announcement has not been made yet, but since there are so many items this time, I've drawn some very sexy illustrations.
