Weekly Update! I forgot the #?

I'm going to put this at the top because I'm assuming many of you just skim these posts. But, with the edits almost finished (see below), my next goal is to focus on writing enough to bump up the amount you guys get here on Patreon.
The growth on Patreon has stagnated a bit, and I'd love to see Patreon continue to grow, even if it's slow. If Patreon can help me maintain a steady income, the thought of being a full-time author is SUPER appealing to me.
So, with that goal in mind, the next order of business is getting Patreon up to 30 Chapters ahead of Royal Road. This is mainly because, before running any sort of promotion to encourage more people to join Patreon, I want to show my appreciation and support to all of you who have been here for a couple of months now. I cannot say thank you enough (though I'll likely try). Your support means the world to me, and I love having you all here.
After I get you guys up to 30 ahead, I might do some sort of promotion or incentive on RR for hitting milestones of people who join. Every 20 or something people who join the Patreon $10 Tier, we'll add another chapter ahead. We can keep that running, if it seems like a good incentive, until we are 40 or 50 chapters ahead.
I don't mind writing more! I love the project and love engaging with you guys.
Edits
Chapters 1-5 are posted on Royal Road now.
I finished the edits and changes for 6 - 17 yesterday. I'll want to read through them again today before posting them tonight or tomorrow.
Tomorrow, I plan to adjust Ch. 24 just a bit and potentially have Alex chase after Valtherion to enter the portal rather than entering out of greed.
These are all minor changes that do not change the story. You guys do not need to go back and read them if you don't want to. Honestly, some of those early chapters were a little cringy. I feel like my writing style has improved a lot, and it will make me feel better to know that I'm sending my best work to Aethon for publishing.
Thank you all for being here and supporting the story.
Comments
Two thoughts: Happy as long as you don't overburden yourself. Yeah, the greed as motivation fits less than running after Val. Alex is generally more measured.
