2025-11-24 22:50:11 +0000 UTCI hated this ending & I can’t stand looking at that actor anymore I watched DH after this & I was so disappointed that he was the sole survivor of Alpha when I would have so enjoyed seeing him blown to bits instead of the guy who was. I also get ill having to see him AOS now. In interviews RT said he couldn’t write for a happy couple that V couldn’t be a bad ass Pi & have a loving husband to go home to at the end of the day. Which is utter BS imo. Especially when he has the job he has marriage wasn’t going to fix all their issues magically there was so much more they could have done with his character. To me that just says he lacks the talent to write a couple which is sad. But it wasn’t only Logan’s death although being my favorite character that was a deal breaker. But I also hated how it was set up to cut off all the beloved ensemble cast. Even the newly made relationships were ruined by the end. Wallace was barely a blip & Weevil & her relationship was ruined. Mac a no show (which now I respect her refusing to accept a nominal part in this what turned out to be shit show.) If what RT wanted was basically a spin off where V is like a younger more jaded Angela Lansbury aka (Murder She Wrote) he should have left it at the movie & just did a new spin off staring KB. I’m glad there is not & hope there never is a S5 it’s comforting to know majority of fans are not interested in RT’s vision of a darker grittier unlikable V strictly solving mysteries & what was it RT said having a string of tawdry one night stands, he didn’t want any more relationships 🤢 ugh all those interviews just made me so angry & downhearted. He did admit that he knew he was taking a gamble & if it didn’t pay off it would be a huge mistake. So yeah I want to him to have to live with that HUGE mistake! To say I’m bitter would be a BIG understatement. Also it felt so much like slap in the face if your going to do that to an important main character at least honor him with a military funeral show us V & especially Dicks emotional aftermath, now having lost his brother, father & closest real friend all in very traumatic circumstances is tragic. It just felt heartless jumping a year ahead ignoring all that there was no catharsis just a quick shocking blow & then it’s like it’s an after thought. I found it very disrespectful to both the actor & the audience 😔. The only silver lining was finding out Keith was going to be ok although sadly I honestly think if they had to put V through misery to be a “noir show” I think he would have been a better choice to have died. Furthermore it’s just ridiculous from a storytelling point of view that V & Keith along with police & FBI etc.. All those people were incompetent enough to not search & remove a backpack left by a known bomber in the car!?!? Really they had to dumb down the whole situation just to force his death into the story. There are so many more things I could continue to complain about this season overall lol if I sat here & thought but this is probably too long as it is.
