“The arm” guy which are we supposed to think it’s the part Mike cut off when he refused to kill any more? Anyways side tracked thought but in the finale of S2 or maybe the movie ? I don’t remember but he does say something like next time you see me I won’t look like this. So I’m assuming the tree creature was planned all along?

Shows like Dexter and Ray Donovan aired on the channel and like HBO shows, there are no commercials and no censorship as far as language or nudity or violence like the original show had which aired on broadcast TV

2025-08-26 22:46:11 +0000 UTCI haven’t rewatched The Return since watching it weekly when it aired. Looking forward to seeing it again. Thoughts after watching these; my main thought is that these episodes seem more interested in examining The black lodge and things going on surrounding it and the evil dale cooper than in the daily goings on around the town of Twin Peaks. That feels like a big departure from the original show where the supernatural was sprinkled in with most of the focus on Twin Peaks itself. The little person that played The Arm didn’t return for this series so they recasted him with a weird tree thing. Which cracks me up for some reason.
