No, you didn't miss anything. If memory serves, it was just assumed that a combination of Pansy being exceptionally well suited to the Black Family Magics, along with having Harry read her desires so well and acting on them, plus the fact that Harry's magic was a lot more powerful than befoe, due to the breaking of the connection between Harry and Voldemort all pulled together into a 'Perfect Storm' of pleasure, so we get what happened in the cabin on the Hogwarts Express. Does that make sense? Anyway, Happy/Merry Christmas or whatever you happen to celebrate!
