Have to say, this story is pretty out there even for me. I know i've pushed the evelope as far as being accused of being a misogynist, but at least two of the characters, the Mayor, and Holland Manners of Wolfram and Hart, are absolutely misogynists, and I actually felt slimy being inside their heads.
Anyway, hope you enjoy, and next chapter will have some Citrus!

Exactly! The two characters are at best, completely amoral, and at worse, deliberately evil, and other than having them grow and twist their mustaches while tying girls to the railroad tracks and hitting kittens, and other ultra-cliche things, I have to demonstrate it through their thoughts and dialogue, and how they treat people.

2025-01-22 02:30:35 +0000 UTCI sympathize with you...going to certain places for a story idea can leave you feeling extra gross because a character is just completely irredeemable. I ran into a similar issue trying to write a character who was a multi-spectrum bigot and writing their dialogue was tough because of trying to be realistic in the verbal diarrhea they spewed. Way too easy to make them literally offend every other word but rolling back the diatribes also didn't fit the character and their established behaviour.
