Anybody good with grammar available?

EDIT: After trying several of the on-line grammar checkers, none of them are worth the money they want, and the free versions are useless because of their limitations.

So, is there a live human (or alien, I'm not particular) that is comfortable with checking for grammar/tenses?

I've been getting feedback that my stories are getting worse, grammar wise, and have no defense, I've never been all that clear on how it works.

Anyway, is anybody available for Beta services? I can't pay you, but will give you credit in the author notes. Message me if you want to give it a shot, okay?

Thanks

Ah, I see your reply about censorship, I write as well under Spider Lite over on QQ and I've corrected scenes using AI. The AI that you should use should be open-sourced, I've personally used LLaMa 3 405B. You can find plenty of websites to use it for free without any real limit. You'll need a soft jailbreaking prompt, I'm not sure if you've already found a Beta so I'll just stop here for now, but yeah let me know if you're interested

Thanking you for reminding us that there is always someone better for the writer and the reader. ;)

Thanks for offering, but I've gotten someone already, if he gets overwhelmed, or if my muse decides i need 25,000 words of a story, I'll absolutely keep you in mind.

I am fair but not great.

I use Libre Office, and while it does have spelling, I haven't noticed grammar. And honestly, this is one of those situations that I don't want to trust to Skynet *GRIN* I just prefer to have a human to interact with.

Red Jacobson

Do you not have ms word which includes spelling and grammar suggestions?

John McCormick

I've tested chatgpt and, while it's not bad, it's limited to how much it can do in a day without paying for it. The others I've tested today have drawbacks that I would prefer to do without.

Red Jacobson

I actually have been using Grammarly, and not overly satisfied with it's ability to learn As for chatgpt, don't they censor the naughty stuff?

Red Jacobson

Try using grammarly or even chatgpt to fix errors, just make sure the ai doesn't rewrite it and only fixes spelling mistakes and errors otherwise the quality will become dogshit cause nothing is worse then a story written by ai
