Coral's Parting Gift

A good time was had by all, a true feeling of friendship was rife in the air. Coral and Jeffrey had been somewhat nudged together by the beagle's loyal companion, Sebastian. He was a perceptive little droid and in his little planet sized processing unit he could tell that they would be a good fit for one another.
Though she didn't want to force Jeffrey to do anything too far out of his comfort zone, she did eventually get him up and dancing with her. Naturally she led from start to finish.
After a short walk down the beach, Coral hoisted Jeffrey up onto the trunk of a large palm and presented to him a hand made necklace of seashells of all different colours.
"That is wonderful, Coral." Jeffrey exclaimed upon seeing it, "Did you make it yourself?"
"I did..." Coral cooed warmly, "In my village it is tradition to present hand made gifts such as these as a token of friendship."
A little blush flushed across the beagle's cheeks, "That's very thoughtful of you Coral, I only wish I had known earlier so that I could give you something in return."
While he was speaking, Coral had already tied it around his neck.
"Don't worry, there is something you could give me."
Before Jeffrey knew it, Coral leaned forward and kissed him softly on the lips while Sebastian, who was meant to be on charge for the night rejoiced behind them, blowing his cover.
