Superheat Report #1

Hi everyone! I have something special for you today, a sneak peak at a new game I have been working on in my free time for some months now, Superheat Heroes!

So, what is this game all about? Well, it's a 2D game much like Lust for Adventure, but about superheroes, and you can guess the models I'm using for it...

In this game you'll be a rookie superhero that has a rough start the first night you try to fight crime, you get your ass kicked, and a new, strange drug gets used on you, Superheat.

This drug will turn you on, more than anything in your life, tearing down any social filter you might have, making you want just sex (very convenient for a porn game, am I right?) But don't worry, you get saved in time by someone very special.

Long story short, Tony wants to help you become a proper hero, so he will tell some of the pros about you, and you will fight alongside them to get better and better, building up your body...and your relationship with those heroes...

The three main heroes will be Captain America, Iron Fist, and Spider-Man, and during the day you'll be able to gain affection with them, increasing your relationship. You can team up with them during the night to fight evil.

At the start of the game, you'll be able to choose your superpower, each one will affect what you get when training a specific stat, and you'll get a different combat ability:

• Speed - This superpower will increase your damage when you train Speed and you'll get an ability that hits an enemy and increases your dodge.

• Strength - This superpower will increase your damage when you train your strength and you'll get an ability that hits an enemy really hard

• Mind - This superpower will increase your damage when you train your Intellect, and you'll get an ability that puts a shield on an ally (The shield amount is based on your attack)

Then when you train the three stats, independently of your superpower, you will get something else too:

• Speed - Increases your Dodge

• Strength - Increases your Health

• Intellect - Increase your Hit

Now, for the combat, as you can see, things will be more ''professional'' I really tried to make a system that feels better. The sprites are animated, the abilities too, and it just has more stuff in it, and there can be up to 3 enemies

The game will have multiple zones, and you know me, so of course it will have a gym and a locker room, but how does all of this works? Well, the game will have Days, and every day will have two states, Day and Night.

• During the day you'll be able to interact with the different characters to increase affection and time will not pass, once you choose what you want to train the Day will move to Night.

• During the night you'll be able to move freely around the city too, and only when you choose to fight crime from the city map, choosing your companion and your enemy, then the day will move to the next one, well, you can sleep in your bed too.

The game it's pretty similar to Redridge Academy from LfA with the combat on top of it, and everything has that comic style, with the white border around the screen, although I don't know if I'll keep it because I got the feeling that it takes you out of the game, we'll see.

And what about the sex scenes? Well, this is how they will work, as you know, in Lust for Adventure many sex scenes are just there, you can have scenes when you lose against enemies, which is as easy as submitting to them, and for this game I want you to earn the scenes.

So in order for you to get a scene, you'll have to buy Superheat from a mysterious stranger in the park at night, and once you defeat an enemy you can choose to use it on him, or give the drug to the enemy so he can use it with your hero companion.

• Do you want to see, for example, a thug hot-dogging Spider-Man? Just put the drug in his pocket and let Spider-Man bring the thug to the police station by himself. The thug will use the drug on Spider-Man and have some fun with him.

• Do you want to get sucked by the thug? Tell Spider-Man that you will bring the thug to the police yourself, and once Spidie is gone use the drug on the thug, there you go.

Then you'll have your lovely romance scenes with the main heroes once you reach a specific threshold, and yes, there will be some ''easy to get'' scenes around the game, but the main point I'm trying to make here is that I don't want a situation where you can trigger a scene with an enemy by just submitting to him.

Now, I only have the sex scene for the intro done, the one in the image. I need to take care of everything else first before making the other ones, the basic mechanics of the game are coded already, but I still have a lot of work to do, add audio, etc...and the first version will have the basic stuff, probably around 6 or 7 scenes, something simple to begin with. Oh, and it will have 2 languages, English and Spanish!

So, there you go! Again, I'm working in my free time, so this is not taking anything away from LfA and I'm not planning on moving to this game and leaving the other behind or anything like that, this will be a little extra that will receive updates from time to time, not every month, and it will probably be included only in the Briefs tier and above, it won't have a public version.
