2025-08-25 21:51:10 +0000 UTCI also consider that Matsu only lacks a few things to become a sage: 1- a weapon like the toad's, that can absorb chakra and then release it, maybe he can give it to the chameleons if he signs with them or the one who signs asks them for it. 2-someone he fully trusts to hit him as soon as he feels or sees something weird while he meditates to hit him with the chakra absorbing weapon (maybe while he is in the land of honey he could start?). 3-to be able to sense natural chakra, which can be solved with a lot of patience and meditating for a long time, since he is not going to be in a natural realm saturated with natural chakra and the other option would be for him to steal some of the hero's water (I think that's what it was called) from the waterfall village. 4-perhaps a deeper knowledge of his own body, maybe as good as Inosuke from Demon Slayer, that he can move his organs out of place (at this point I'm not so sure, as I consider Matsu to already have a great knowledge of his body).

2025-08-19 22:11:26 +0000 UTCI gave it some thought and one possibility would be the bear summoning, they already exist in canon when the animal path summoned a panda and I did some research and apparently bears are considered very connected to nature. There are many types of bears, so depending on the location Matsu can summon different bears and maybe that type of summoning would suit him better.

2025-08-12 22:11:18 +0000 UTCMatsu should sign the scroll. Its more interesting for him to help them to decipher Sage mode from scraps of lore and sufficient chakra sensing. What would be funny is if it turned out they were lying about not knowing Sage Chakra as part of hiding their capabilities. Even Nono still being sighted in theory could simple be a tool to put Matsu at ease thinking he spotted the spy only for another to be hidden.

After reading the chapter twice, what jumps out at me is the Yuki classman being assigned to Matsus med corps. Also the retribution incoming from the Yuki clan head, Gengetsu might use it to get rid of Matsu soon, also I believe the Kaguya clan might be slighted with Matsu not contributing something to them after cutting him so much slack and backing him, I can't wait to see what happens with hanahime and if Matsu will reach out to the Land of vegetables and the uzumaki blacksmith, also the last chapter got me wondering what mito thinks of Matsu, lastly I believe he should accept the contract, it would help Matsu create a spy network and have many eyes on his rivals and plots against him and his allies, that will allow him to not be blindsided again just for that ,he can offer shito to sign after, because Matsu may have all his countermeasures but his enemies within kiri will come for him, please update soon this is an amazing story!!!!
