Author note - Changes to the release schedule
Added 2024-07-15 08:55:04 +0000 UTCHey all, after last week's chapter's issues and rewrite I ended up burning through a good deal of the time I have available for writing to do the changes that the last chapter (239) needed.
As mentioned I am toying with the chapter release schedule and I was toying with the idea of trialling a release on Tuesday, Wednesday AEST instead of releasing on what is Wednesday and Thursday AEST. I will make this change next week however.
I feel that only releasing one chapter this week will help with that shift as it is not just me that is impacted by this but also any people doing proofreading. So I am going to have to dash people's hopes by only releasing one chapter (240) this week.
Hopefully what would also happen is that I can get another chapter written and then I would have one chapter actually in the bank for myself, something I haven't had for months due to IRL events.
This might impact both the basic and bronze supporters with only one chapter being released this week for both tiers.
I know this might be a bit of a surprise to the basic tier supporters but basically there were a number of issues with the last chapter that led to rewrites.
I'm sorry if this puts anyone out or frustrates you further, but I am still trying to juggle my various commitments with a reshuffle which will result in shifts in my schedule and I don't know what the results will be with my life.
I'm hoping to make things better with this shift in the long run to be honest.
Feel free to throw any comments or other idea I might have overlooked my way, I will try to read through them!
TLDR:- Shifting schedule results in reshuffle and only one chapter this week to allow more time next week. Viva01 hopes this is acceptable for people!

2024-07-16 16:57:50 +0000 UTCJust take the week off. We'd completely understand. Well, most of us. ^^ But seriously: If you've got to take your time, take your time. Don't rush it. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast something something.

2024-07-15 09:07:55 +0000 UTCHey if you need to do one chapter, you do one chapter. If you need a break do to irl stuff, then you take a brake. If you want to build up a backlog then thats perfectly alright. Your health both physical amd mental are important. I rather have no chapter for small while then you burning out and quitting (not that im getting that vine 😉)

2024-07-15 09:05:17 +0000 UTCBuddy you can take breaks or do whatever you need to. As long as the story keeps rolling, the quality stays the same and you want to do it, it’s fine. A lot of authors take breaks to go on holidays or just to catch up on real life so if that’s what you need, go for it as well. Most of us here are already invested in the story and will follow it as long as possible.
