You're tricking me. They have to have holiday-by-another-name-equal-to-halloween. They've got ghost pokemon. And dark types. People in some city/state or region somewhere in their history had to establish a night to appease these critters or the local wild pokemon would do something drastic. Again. Humanoids are known to be reactive or adapt to situations.
